Additions to the lineup we are starring the "Muscle Machine" roadster NISMO,
manufactured by Funline Merchandising Company.
The Funline Merchandising Company was incorporated in 1993. The first products were 4x4
die-cast trucks. In 1994 friction power was added to the trucks. From 1994 to 1998
various toys were added to the product line.
In 1998 licenses were obtained from Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors to cover a
brand new issue of classic muscle cars. Muscle Machines was formed as a division of
Funline. Development began in 1999 and in the fall of 2000 the 1969 Camaro, 1970
Barracuda and the 1966 Mustang die-casts were introduced in 1/18th scale followed
shortly by 1/64th scale die-casts of the 1969 Camaro, 1970 Barracuda, 1966 Mustang,
1969 Chevelle, 1966 GTO and the 1962 Corvette. The models were immediately a huge
success.
Demand grew for all makes, body styles and years of cars and trucks.
The prototype models are designed and developed in the United States then sent to
China for tooling, casting, painting, assembly and packaging.
Muscle Machines are distributed worldwide with the U.S. being the main market.
They are available in a wide variety of retail stores and through mail order houses.
The Muscle Machine lineup has recently expanded to include all categories of cars,
monster trucks, motorcycles, and military vehicles. Many innovative all new products
are in the design stages now. The success of Muscle Machines is due to the company's
commitment to quality, value and exciting products.
In September 2003 Funline Inc. was acquired by Action Performance Company of Phoenix,
Arizona, but "Funline" will continue to operate as an independent company.
