• The meeting plan is set
The usual auto show and the make promotional program was organised with conjunction of the
local Nissan dealership and the Miskolc City Trade Faire Authority.
• Driving up to Miskolc
The drive to the meeting point at Miskolc took two hours for the Budapestian Z drivers. In
the parking area of the local Nissan (Nissan Balogh Kft) we met
the other guys from the nearby cities. After
the morning caffee and greetings we formed our convoy with the direction of a 350Z, and proceeded
to the location of the show.
• Nissan Zeds on display
Prying eyes fallowed our movements as we lined up the Z evolution. The viewers were then whirling
around our cars, and the displayed merchandise and service tents.
By the time the autumn sun has warmed the air, our excitements level also topped up to the next
move. Therefore we called up the drivers and turned our engines on. The following half an hour convoy
drive to the nearby town, where our afternoon programs and accommodations were booked went smoothly
without hassle.
• Wine country and deer goulash
Soon after the couples checked into their lettings our companionship split into two groups. As
the largest group jumped into the cars and went to visit the capital of Wine Country Tokaj, for
buying some yellow gold lymph for the dinner party, the small group of talented cooks and their
helpers began to prepare the deer goulash in pot at open fire .
While the vegetable ingredients were caramelizing and the meets chopped, the pre-roasted cracklings
were wet by glass of fine red wine from Villány. As the scene of the wobbling goulash was welcomed
by our returning sight seers, were the wine bottles at least as much appreciated amongst the cooking
parties.
The after glows find our fellowship sitting on benches around the open fire, drinking wine, and
talking about various subjects. Not so long after the mosquitoes gorge themselves from our blood
and retired, and had the chance finally consuming couple of glasses without trashing our uncovered
body parts, we almost felt sorry that our dinner would not be served on the outdoor tables.
Sooner or later all of us felt the affection of the delicate food and wine and took the opportunity
escaping the unwanted hang-over.
• Up to the mountains
Fresh clear air welcomed the morning walkers, as the cold drinks and strong hot coffee had the
beneficial affect on the emerging headache.
Soon after the breakfast we were ready for the mountain drive up to the Bükk National Park, the most
beautiful natural reserves the Hungarian mountain country had to offer.
Number of roads criss-crossing the mountain -some for the public, some only for the forestry- but
neither of them offered as many natural beauties that surrounded us along this forest road. Our
convoy advanced sneakily under the flamboyant-suited foliage, as we passed the trout stream and
arrived onto the mountain plateau, where we meet the browsing stud, our "one horsepower relatives".
The picturesque surroundings continued at the next stop, where our group was welcomed by the Major
of the maintain village called Répashuta. The local hunters-restaurant offered delicious dishes,
that made our selection very difficult indeed.
After the palatial feast, all of as felt lucky again being part of this community, that had these
natural and gastronomical adventures of the week end.
