Fastest of Japan 2005

• Meeting point at Motel Hormersdorf

We were received cordially in a truly friendly atmosphere at 744 kilometers from home. The other guests were continuously arriving all the afternoon, than checked into their quarters. We had the opportunity to meet those personally, spend a night, and drink couple beers with those boys who were our internet pen friends in the last couple months.

Besides those twenty three Z32 300ZXs we had two Z31, a Honda 2000 and a Toyota Supra in our convoy.
Our Organizers shown great concern about our convoy and ensured our advance across the road crossings too. Our programs were not only spectacular but very delicious too.

• About the programs

Day 2. Suturday

Day 3. Sunday

Day 4. Monday
The day of the truths: throughput measures !

• Racing Day

While we were waiting for the racing action on the side track of the local air field the participants would be able to admire the take offs and landings of all kind of flying machines. Power driven sailplanes, small sport aero planes, helicopters were flying around us.

In the meantime, one of the bitumen lanes were transformed for the site of the long waited speed duels, that suppose to decide who is the Fastest of Japan...hoops...Germany
Petrolic vapour and smell of the burning tires filled the air in atrail of the loosened horse powers.
The race and its analysis last whole night long until the last beers were consumed

• Devil's cart

On the next day we were invited for another "fun drive", where we were supposed to sit into a small cart and rolling down on the rain sloped down hills of a ski field. The name of the exercise called "Devil's cart" that seemed as a crazy idea, until some of us took the challenge without braking arms and legs.

• More excitements

The excitements were not finished yet, because all had to work hard for deserving the table full of delicious courses, served near the river bank....so we had to paddling hard in a Canadian canoe to get there ....

• More to come

Next programs were less demanding and still very interested, and filled with laughter. Grill party, video film about the previous FOJ meeting and more talk....

These four days gave us lot to remember in the dark winter days... with the clear intention that ... we will come back in 2006 year too.
