Hot day and Hot actions .. the Hungarian Zeds on the road again

Soon after a warm welcome our hosts provided cold drinks and nibbling in the air-conditioned show room! What we needed badly on a hot day like this Saturday morning. While our cars were numbered for beauty completion - since the open day visitors were asked to vote on the best looking cars - we attended a fun ride at a nearby location built for 4 wheel drive testing. After couple rounds more drinks abd nibbling were consumed while we continued wide variety of discussions in Z subjects. :-) In lunch time we were invited for local Hungarian Gulash, that was cooked outside and served under the shade of a white sun tent. The early afternoon went quickly while we were digesting the hearty food in the corner of the cool show and performed couple test rides, we were asked for by the local Nissan guys. After the afternoon rest our hosts finally counted and announced the competition results. The first price were split between two cars, based on the equal votes of 11 ..... for the black 280ZX .... and the 99’s nosed currently restored pearl white Z32 !!!!!! The sun was still high up when we left the dealership and drove into the town for cooling down ourselves with couple huge portion of foamy ice creams. Without targa tops we enjoyed the way back to Budapest under the nice afternoon breeze. Yep ... and I must not forget that we each received presents too ... red caps and wind jackets with white Nissan logo. :-) ... Our next summer excursion is due in two weeks, when we are going to visit lake Balaton for two days ...with 14 cars..
