"Z" - All about 350Z
|
|
"The Nissan 350Z sums up everything we like about Japanese performance cars.
It's a real sports car: a flexible yet rev-happy 3.5-litre V6 engine, an incredibly
grippy chassis that gets better the more you extend it, a chunky steering feel and
a bristling engine note."

model that introduced to America in October 1969 ....as the Datsun 240Z. ..

"Q" WORLD PREMIERE OF
NISSAN QASHQAI |
PARIS,(Sep. 6, 2006) - Nissan today presented for the first
time its new Compact Crossover for Europe, the Qashqai, at an event hosted in Paris
by Carlos Ghosn, Nissan's President and CEO.
Inspired by the concept car of the same name that was presented at the 2004 Geneva
Motor Show, the Qashqai is a new vehicle for Nissan in Europe, with sales starting
in February 2007.
It will cater for those car-buyers who want a more dynamic design than offered by
a traditional C-segment car, but are not attracted to the large, aggressive nature
of a compact SUV.
The design of the car was led by Nissan Design Europe (NDE) and it represents the
first new production vehicle to be designed at NDE since its move to London in 2003.
The development programme was led by Nissan Technical Centre Europe based in Cranfield,
England, with significant input from Nissan's engineering base in Japan. Qashqai
will be produced at Nissan's factory in Sunderland, England.

"M" - MicraZ - The
350Z powered RV6 ! |
NISMO has also breathed on the engine that has been fitted to a very special
Micra which, too, is making its debut at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Micra R shown at last year's event has become the Micra RV6 after a heart
transplant conducted by Ray Mallock Limited, based in Wellingborough, using a
350Z engine with NISMO parts to produce 310HP and 267 lbs-ft of torque.
Its engine
is rear mounted, where the Micra's rear seat would normally go, and drives the rear
wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox shared with the American market Nissan
Altima SE-R. 350Z wheels and hubs are used along with specially machined drive
shafts. Painted in the 2005 350Z Japanese GT touring car colours, the muscular
Micra RV6 will be showing off its new engine on the Nissan stand.
