Season opening .. the Hungarian Zeds on the road again

It never happened before... no blue sky, no sunshine on the morning of our fourth season opening. In spite of the rather grey sky and continuous shower, great number of Z cars and enthusiasts gathered on the usual venue spot of the Nissan car yard at Budaörs. Some guys were even brave enough to take out their beloved Zs from the heated heavens, but the others picked the second cars instead.

Our friends from Békéscsaba - who are living so far from the others and were unable join our Z Pub events during the long winter period - were so enthusiastic, that they represented the local "gang" by three cars...out of four.

We could finally make a tally of four Z32s, two 280ZXs, two 350Zs and one NX100 on the shiny wet display area, that was full of cars last year, when we counted more than 28 Zs and SXs.

In the safe heaven of the heated office building, we were having long waited conversations about the commenced and finalised projects. Who did buy what .. what was replaced, assembled into where, what parts are expected to be received from different parts of the globe...what other stuff still missing for finalising the tasks that waiting to be completed, before the real season launch and so on...
Every corner was used for serious conversations about the forthcoming actions...

While we were enjoying "very important" conversations, our Z ladies took the arising opportunity, and stepped onto oil, for conducting some "(un)necessary" activities in the nearby shopping village.

Both activities had to be interrupted for a while, when we had to perform our first convoy drive to the site of the selected restaurant, where our nicely set long-table expected us for exercising a different type of enjoyment.

Not so long after we took our places at the table, the local TV guys also appeared, who were sniffed out our presents and wanted to take some shots and interviews about our club and car histories.

Soon after our proud Z owners performed their "star" roles at the interviews and introductions, only one more action remained. The club president talked about the proposed yearly events, handed out the membership cards and the DVDs that documented some of the best moments of last year events.

After all our 2007 Z season has officially began ... but number of cars are not yet ready for the actions :-(
