5th Anniversary Season opening
.. the Hungarian Zeds on the road again
Arriving visitors have a distant view of a big sign and a gold 350Z couple as they
approaching the sales centre of Nissan Gablini. Certainly something is going on this
early spring Saturday. All kind of Nissan Z sport cars queuing and getting admittance
at the front entrance. No far to seek that one of the most prestigious sport auto club,
the Z Club Hungary is holding its 5th Anniversary Season opening today.
Shiny "war horses" are arriving successively into the car yard. Next to the 2
jet black Z33s, a freshly repainted blue Strosek and a heart transplant white 300ZX
are waiting for the actions.
More from the nineties: the Z32 types, but each and all of the Z generation represented
by a museum quality specimen. Here it is, an example of the 81’ Z31, originated from
Switzerland. No one would suspect, it was coming down from the assembly line more
than 20 years ago.
We can also see a couple of nice, 280ZXs and a very rare US type 280Z (with the powerplant
of a fuel injected 280ZX engine... the engine was released before the new tin box ...
therefore NIssan used the new engine in the old tin box, till the new 280ZX design was
ready to launch)
Cars were all over the area, when the rising sound of thousand horsepower filled the
void under the commandment of z boss, who conducted the 18 cars one after the other into
their place of the evolution timeline.
After the faded engine sounds, only the breech actions of the digital cameras could
be heard.
Visitors and car enthusiasts came and gone but all of them left with pleasant feeling,
and the scenery of one of the most beloved sport car make of the word.
Amongst the visitors, number of Nissan, Summit and Gablini executives were also
presented, including Francois Goupil de Bouillé, Managing Director and Krzysztof
KOWALSKI Communications Director, Nissan Sales Central & Eastern Europe.
The contemplation was adjourned by the Founding President, Sandor Szikszai who
evaluated the achievements of the past 5 years and thanked the contribution of
club activists, by presenting small gifts together with Francois Goupil de Bouillé.
Who also highlighted those important contributions, the club was playing, in the
propagation and preservation of Nissan's sports car heritage and presented a
written appreciation to the president.
After the commemorative photos and reception, members formed up for the first time
in this year for a Saturday afternoon convoy drive across the city of Budapest.
