Celebrate Z's 40th birthday

Just over 40 years ago a motoring icon was born. As the sixties moved into the 1970's, the Datsun 240Z was launched on the US market. American drivers instantly fell in love with the car and sales in that one market alone regularly topped 50,000 units annually.
The Z legend had begun....four decades, six generations and well over a million cars.

The Euro-spec 370Z Black Edition comes in two metallic shades black and quartz with both paints using Nissan's Scratch Shield technology that promises to "heal" the finish in the case of stone chip damage.

The exterior of the 370Z Black can be identified by the dark grey 19-inch forged RAYS wheels that encompass the red brake calipers and the special '40th Anniversary" emblem on the rear hatch (and on top of the engine).

Inside the special Z gets a red leather and suede appointed interior with embossed 40th Anniversary logo seats, and floormat embroidery, smooth leather wrapped steering wheel with red stitching on the centre cluster, centre console and knee pads plus the firm's touch-screen satellite navigation and audio system with USB connectivity. And not to mention the commemorative premium satin car cover among others.

Other than that, the Black Edition features the same 3.7-litre V6 developing 328PS as the standard model offering the 370Z a limited top speed of 250km/h or 155mph and a 0-100km/h (62 mph) time of 5.3 seconds..

Nissan expands its crossover selection

The Nissan Juke was inspired by the Qazana concept car that received such a warm reception at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, and will fit into the Nissan range between the Note compact family car and the Qashqai crossover.

The car has been designed and developed to give customers an alternative to the traditional small hatchback and will inject some much-needed dynamism into the small car segment, offering European car-buyers an alternative to the traditional, uninspiring small hatchback.

As the fourth Crossover in Nissan's European range, Juke intends to reinforce the brand's pioneering Crossover leadership in Europe.

Juke will be manufactured alongside the Qashqai, Qashqai+2 and Note at Nissan's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sunderland, Great Britain.
